is the practice name under which Adrian continues to work, now selectively, as an independent special adviser and consultant. It maintains and draws on the legacy of Adrian Graves Organisation Limited, the full service consultancy which he founded in 1980 and which he formally closed in September 2020 – after over forty years.
AGO Strategic now provides bespoke strategic advice and consultancy, drawing on Adrian’s fifty-year career experience both in-house and in consulting – and his in-depth knowledge of specialist, niche sectors, industries and government.
Whilst Adrian is best known for his work in the defence, security and emergency services sectors, particularly vehicles and land systems, his origins and background are firmly embedded in a range of key industries including transport, freight, handling, logistics, infrastructure, plant and equipment, automotive, motorsport, componentry, engineering, electronics, systems, energy, renewables, oil and gas, environmental, wastes management, industrial manufacturing – and the related financial, investment and service sectors which support them.
Adrian has worked with clients from start-ups and spin-outs, through the SME and Tier level supply chains, to divisions of major international companies and Primes. Working effectively as an extension of the internal management team, he has supported clients through ad hoc, project, continuous and full-outsource programmes.
